The Schumacher CAT revolutionised off road racing when it was introduced in 1986, being years ahead of the competition.
It became an international success winning British, European, Japanese, Australian, and American championships.
It was updated with a longer wheelbase and Masami Hirosaka went on to win the 1987 1/10th 4WD IFMAR World Championships in Romsey, England.
We are now excited to offer this iconic replica of the car that Masami used to win the first of his many World Championships, and put Schumacher Racing on the map as a leading RC car manufacturer.

    The CAT XLS Masami features:

    - Ball differentials, which had been invented by Cecil Schumacher in 1978.
    - Unique integrator system offering adjustable torque split between front and rear.
    - Double wishbone suspension with massive travel.
    - Alloy coil over oil filled shock absorbers.
    - Full replica decal set.
    - Huge steering lock to handle the tightest tracks.
    - Front O ring ‘crashback’ system to minimise front end crash damage.
    - Compact design with low polar moment of inertia and low centre of gravity gives the CAT remarkable manoeuvrability and balance.
    - Tough polycarbonate bodyshell and undertray to keep out the dirt.
    - Original Schumacher spiked tyres.
    - Accepts period nicad/nimh batteries or modern shorty lipos.
    - Accepts brushed or brushless motors.
    - Transmission upgrade available to handle modern high powered motors, and create a class leading buggy for historic RC racing.

Last weekend the Fifth Hungarian Serpent S411 Endurance race was held at Pecs in 'Sportolda' sportshall. This race is running in a unique format. The organisers prepare 6 identical S411 RTR cars. The race starts with the draw of cars among the teams. 4 racers consists of a team, they are allowed to use their own batteries and transmitter, the rest is provided by the organiser team. The race has 6 etaps, 50 minutes of driving followed by 15 minutes service-parks. At halftime everybody is having a lunch altogether while cars are waiting in the parc-ferme. The main goal is to have a lot of fun and tracktime and build a nice team spirit. Triad M4 Light Weight Wheel Nuts | Gold

The Avid Gold Triad M4 Light Weight Wheel Nuts are anodized with a unique process that makes them reflective to resemble gold plating. The unique Triad design utilizes only three corners of the nut instead of 6 to give the nut its lighter weight, possibly making them the lightest wheel nuts on the market at 0.3g/ea. But don't think this takes away from the torque handling capabilities. With a quality wheel wrench you can crank these puppies down and the serrations will add the confidence you need for keeping them as you shred that PVC.
Gold anodizing is a unique process that is reflective to resemble gold plating.
Extremely light weight serrated wheel, coming in at 0.3g/ea.
Unique Triad 3 cornered nut, uses common 7mm wheel wrenches.
Serrated to ensure they stay on while youre showing the pipe whos the boss.
Open nut which doesn't extend past the tire like popular closed nuts.
Fits all modern 10th scale vehicles in offroad and onroad, AE, TLR, HB, KYO, XRAY)

Report of the race from Jorn Neumann:
Last weekend I attended the Lyon GP for the first time. I must say it was one of the best carpet tracks I ever raced on. It was very technical and had maximum traction. Really challenging for driver and the material.

On Saturday it was only 2WD, with 2 Rounds practice, followed by 3 Qualifications and 2 8min mains. After qualifying I found myself in the 3rd position with the brand new Serpent SRX2 MH. A1 was good until the last couple were I just was unlucky, but still finished 3rd. A2 and still the podium was wide open. After a couple laps I could take the lead with a decent gap to 2nd place and cruise to the end to take the overall win!

Sunday and it was 4WD time. This time with the new Serpent SDX4. After practice I was 4th, I needed to find some more consistency as on one lap I was right there. We made some small changes and improved my 5min pace, just unlucky again as a marshall run on the track and hit my car. Q3 was better and I made a safe run to secure 4th on the grid for this time three 5min A-mains.
A1 was a close race between Bayer, Wollanka and me, I finished 3rd just 1.5sec behind. A2 Again a really close race. I was up to 2nd behind Wollanka with just a couple laps to go, but hit a dot and spun out. Finished 2nd just 0.9sec behind.
A3 I got a good start and could overtake Lee Martin after a couple laps. I tried to push hard to catch Bayer, but it was too much and I had a couple of mistakes which put me down. Overall I finished 3rd.

Two times podium was a great achievement. Thanks to all my sponsors.
