  15. Our friend Kentech propose you his review about his new Tamiya TRF418. Notre ami Kentech a le plaisir de vous proposer son article sur le montage de la nouvelle Tamiya TRF418. Here you can see the new separate suspension blocks with material removed to clear steering links at all settings. You can also see the new 54479 Separate Suspension Mount Setting Spacer (0.5mm/4pcs.) which is included with the kit. The standard setting is as you can see 0.5mm under the blocks. 1C blocks are included. Good picture of the slim and heavily lightened motor mount. Notice how all parts have the edges chamfered for a very nice look. The anodizing is also perfect as usual on TRF kits. (...) 16. The all new TRF418 racing chassis is the successor to the TRF417 chassis series, which has served TRF magnificently since its 2010 debut, securing the elite team numerous race victories including a third IFMAR ISTC World Championships in a row and unprecedented fifth overall. The TRF418 is set to take touring car racing to the next level with the 2014 IFMAR world Championship on the horizon! The TRF418 represents the first complete overhaul that Tamiya's top racing chassis has undergone in three years. Honed through countless tests using cutting-edge power sources, tires, and thanks to the feedback of TRF works drivers Marc Rheinard, Viktor Wilck and of course reigning World Champion Jilles Groskamp, the chassis boasts an almost 100% new design. Tamiya is constantly pushing the limits of R/C racing technology in an effort to stay ahead of the pack and secure the TRF team's sixth title, and the TRF418 promises to be another success story. Front and rear lower bulkheads feature identical design, while upper arms have an optimal attachment angle. Center bulkhead is separate from upper deck, optimizing chassis roll characteristics. Features redesigned front/rear suspension arms with attachment points in dedicated racing positions only. A weight reduction of 2g has been achieved with a lighter direct coupling. Newly-designed stabilizers are now attached using ball connectors. New steering arms offer a more linear steering feel. Includes a 20T pinion gear for a secondary gear reduction ratio of 1.85 (minimizing speed loss when throttle is disengaged.) The North American release of the TRF418 will include the following bonus parts. These bonus parts will only be available in kits during the initial launch date of December 2013. Kits produced after the December date will not include the bonus parts. Damper Springs - soft & hard, 2pcs. each Soft Stabilizer Rods- front & rear, 1pc. each 1 additional set of Suspension Arms - enough to kit out the chassis 1 additional set of Front Uprights - enough to kit out the chassis 1 additional set of Rear Uprights - enough to kit out the chassis Specification Scale : 1/10 Construction type : assembly kit Terrain use : on-road Drive-train : 4WD Drive type : belt Drive line : universal Differential type : sealed oil filled gear and Spool Suspension : fully independent double wishbone Steering mechanism : bell-crank Shock damper : oil-filled damper Shock damper material : aluminum Tire type : not included Tire tread : n/a Body material : not included Chassis material : carbon fiber plate Electronic Speed Control (ESC) : not included ESC model : n/a LED Light buckets : no LED lights : no Motor : not included Bearings : sealed ball bearing Adjustable camber : yes Adjustable toe angles : front and rear Adjustable ground clearance : yes Adjustable gear ratio : yes Adjustable wheelbase : yes Adjustable track width : yes Adjustable shock angle : yes Special feature 1 : New complete redesign from the TRF417 series. 17. <IMG src="http://data8.blog.de/media/325/6779325_79b64e18e9_o.jpeg" width="600"> KENTECH, one of PETITRC's friends, has realeased The TRF417 V5 Premium Package Kit. this kit started is life named the TRF417WX, but was renamed the V5 about 2 months before it's release to commemorate Tamiya's TRF teams fifth ISTC win at the 2012 IFMAR Worlds. This release - the TRF417 V5, is very much the car used at this race to win the World Championship with Tamiya factory driver Jilles Groskamp. Again to celebrate this fact the kit comes wrapped in a beautifully printed package featuring Jilles Worlds winning car and some nicely written facts about Tamiya Racing Factory and their reasons for racing at this level.
