12. This weekend was the 4th race of the national championship 1/10 TC track in Torres Novas. It's now the same layout as the European champiosnhip last year. The weather was unstable but temperature was normal for this time of year. On Saturday started training day and it was an opportunity to test the car and new changes and try to get the best time. Also we try to do our best to help our teammates with set-up. Sunday race started later because it was raining until 9 am and it was unable to race on such a wet track so we have to wait until the track dried. My XRAY T4 dominated trough whole qualification. I won 3 of 4 qualifying heats and so got the TQ. The domination continued during the finals and I won all rounds and my XRAY T4 was the only car which reached 20 laps. Final results: 1. Bruno Coelho – XRAY T4 2. Helder Silva 3. Jose Pequito 4. João Malveiro 5. Rodrigo Marinheiro 6. Alex Ferreira 7. Gonçalo Alves 8. Frederic Santos With this achievement we have won the 4th consecutive race in line and gain the National Champion title once again. Many thanks for support and technical help to XRAY, Nosram and Multimodelismo. report by Bruno Coelho
13. The Roar Paved Nationals were held at Full Throttle Raceway in Kissimmee Florida. Full Throttle Raceway is the site of the upcoming world championships. Team XRAY showed absolute dominance when picked up 4 Titles. Scotty Grey and his T4 14 had dominant performances in both the 17.5 and 13.5 TC divisions. Scotty was TQ in both classes and walked away with perfectly driven victories in A1 and A2 in both. Congratulations to Scotty! The Modified TC division was hotly contested this year. After some turmoil in qualifying Paul Lemieux was able to come from 4th on the grid to second in A1 and win A2 to win the title in a tie breaker over Rick Howart as rain washed away a highly anticipated A3. In the USVTA division it was Corey Parsons who nabbed the TQ and Win. Congrats to all the finalists!! Race report by Paul Lemieux
14. This weekend was the 5th Round of the BRCA Off Road National Series, held at Stotfold Model Car Club. Going into the 2wd event Schumachers Darren Bloomfield had a chance to wrap up the 2wd title, whilst Tom Cockerill had an outside chance to take it to the final round with a good result. But it was the Schumacher KF of Simon Moss that led the way in qualifying, taking the opening 2 qualifying rounds to secure TQ. Schumacher had a fantastic 5 Cougar KF’s in the top 10. A rain shower just before leg 1 meant it was a fresh track for everyone, and it was Darren who showed his skill to come through and take A1. With the track fully dry for leg 2, Darren followed Simon round in a very close battle, capitalising on a rare mistake from Moss to get through to the lead when it mattered most, taking the leg, the meeting victory and with it the 2wd National Championship, Congratulations Darren! Moss completed the KF sweep in leg 3 to secure second on the podium and a Schumacher 1-2. Result – 2WD A Final 1. Darren Bloomfield – Schumacher 2. Simon Moss – Schumacher 3. Lee Martin – Yokomo 4. Neil Cragg – Team Associated 5. Kevin Lee – Team C 6. Elliott Boots – Kyosho 7. Lloyd Storey – Schumacher 8. Tom Cockerill – Schumacher 9. Craig Collinson – Team Durango 10. Nathan Waters – Schumacher Onto Sunday and 4wd, with the title already going to Neil Cragg, he continued his display of skill to take TQ, ahead of season long competitors Lee Martin and Tom Cockerill in 3rd. Once again Schumacher had 5 Cat K1 Aero’s in the top 10. Neil Cragg took a closely run victory from Lee Martin and the CAT K1 of Lloyd Storey completing the podium in an excellent 3rd. 1. Neil Cragg – Team Associated 2. Lee Martin – Yokomo 3. Lloyd Storey – Schumacher 4. Elliott Boots – Kyosho 5. Nathan Waters – Schumacher 6. Simon Moss – Schumacher 7. Tom Cockerill – Schumacher 8. Ellis Stafford – TLR 9. Danny McGee – Schumacher 10. Kevin Lee – Team C All in all a great weekend for the Schumacher team, Darren wrapping up the 2wd National title and Schumacher locking out 50% of the A final places! Congratulations to Darren, BRCA 2WD Champion!

16. The 2014 Kampenhout International Race
17. This weekend I attended my first race for Austrian national championship this year. Race took place at Laa an der Thaya. I haven't drove on this track till this race, so everything was new for me. We arrived on the training on Saturday morning. I've been searching form my setup for the whole day long, as the track was low to medium grip and so the car wasn’t the best. Alot of drivers had a same problem as me, because car was greatly understeered. Sunday was race time, in first qualis car was quite good, but as I wanted to further improve that I’ve made some changes to the car. But then I was slow in next (2nd) quails, so I decided to revert old setup. I have made some changes to the car during lunch break, hoping that the car will be more competitive for the finals. And it was…with some luck I managed to break through to first place, then it was an epic fight for first place till the last corner, where fellow racer passed me for 15 thousandths of a second, so I finished on 2nd place. In 2nd main I managed to come to the lead again, and then stayed there after close battle till the end. 3rd and last finals were decisive for 4 drivers, as we all were still able to win the overall race. I finished it on 2nd place, after my own fault as I nearly catched the leader, but then rolled over. Top 10 Stock: 1. Marcus Galler 2. Jan Popic - XRAY T4 3. Christoph Grach 4. Matthias Urban Matthias 5. Rene Kolbel 6. Vinzenz Schrank 7. Christoph Thums 8. Christian Schiff 9. Gerhard Pitzl 10. Gerald Ferkinghoff This was one of the hardest races for me, because all drivers were really equal and tiniest thing counts. I would want more of races like this, because I'm learning the most from them. Thank you all for great hospitality, to organizer for great and organized race, and last but not least thanks to my fellow racers for exciting and fair driving. Race report by Jan Popic
18. Last weekend saw the running of first ever 2014 indoor off road Victorian Carpet titles , hosted by Melbourne’s Newest racing facility Adrenalin Arena/ Saturday was practise day, and gave us all the change to learn the brand new layout provided by Simon Healy at the Crew At AA. Setting a new tune on the XB4 2wd was extremely easy as the only main difference in track layout was going from a flowing fast layout to a tight technical track. With a Stiffer Front roll bar, a little heavier shock oil, and slight roll centre adjustment. Qualifying was tough and one mistake would put out of the top 5, I managed a couple of average runs to out me 3rd on the grid. Finals time came, and I was fortunate enough to be handed the race lead in A1 by TQ hold Simon Mc Hugh when he traction rolled after a tricky jump landing, a I took the win in A1. A2 was a littler harder but the leaders came together on lap 2 and I passed them for the lead, where I put together a faultless 5 min run to cruise to victory win the state title. The XB4 2wd was flawless all weekend and was easily able to cope with the mega grip carpet grip.
19. The 3rd round of Offroad cup was held in Kolin. The new track for this year was awesome. Especially the surface – one of the best surface I have ever tried so far. The track was open with great traction. In Friday's evening I started a free practice with XB8. I tried a lot of changes on my car and it resulted great speed and easy to drive. In the morning on Saturday's practice I used XB4. The car was slightly nervous and aggressive. I changed a shock position and put a front stabi. After that, car was in excellent conditions and therefore easy to drive. The race started 3 rounds of qualifications. My cars were perfect and I'd got TQ in both classes. In 8th nitro I was 2-3 seconds on best lap faster than the other fast guys. The finals in 8th nitro buggy were formated like electric 10th – three finals A and B for 12minutes. I easily won all finals in both classes and I enjoyed each run on the track. Overall, the race went smoothy and we experienced an amazing race with friendly atmosphere and lots of fun. The Xray cars dominated in both classes. Overall Results : 1:10 4WD 1. David Kukla – XB4’14 2. Martin Kořínek – XB4’14 3. Kája Novotný 4. Roman Kořínek – XB4’14 5. 20. This past weekend hosted the 2014 Fastlane Raceway Spring Shootout in Blue Springs, Missouri. The weather was hot, and the racing was hotter! TLR driver, Mike Garrison, entered the largest class of the weekend 1:8 Expert E-Buggy running the Team Losi Racing 8IGHT-E 3.0. As the single A-Main got under way Garrison found himself in a three-way battle for the lead. He worked his way to the front battling for the lead with XRAY team driver Spencer Wall. The TLR machine led majority of the race until Wall made a surprise last lap pass heading into a big double section. Garrison retaliated with an over-the-top big air pass with less than a few corners to go, capturing the overall 1:8 Expert E-Buggy class win! -- Sincerely, Mike Garrison

22. The awesome track up at Halifax was the venue for the second round of the Schumacher BTCC. Many drivers turned up on Saturday to be greeted by lovely dry conditions, the track was looking fantastic and the drivers set up their race kit on the now covered pitting areas to get themselves ready for the weekend ahead. Since we were last up here there has been some great improvements done to the facility, now making this venue one of the best around from many comments heard during the event by several racers. There were several quick drivers on Saturday, and the day stayed dry throughout so lots of good running was had by many people. We arrived down at the track on Sunday morning and the clouds had moved in and it was looking overcast. Due to this and the threat of rain we had seen a little earlier on the weather forecast, we decided on round by round qualifying for the format. Due to a lower turnout than what we usually have in the Series, we decided to give everyone plenty of track time and racing action so they could all make the most of it. At drivers briefing it was announced that we would do 4 rounds of qualifying with the best 2 to count and then follow this with 3 leg finals for everyone. After all 3 legs, the Modified A Final result was: 1 Chris Grainger 2 James Hart 3 Andy Murray 4 Colin Price 5 John Pape 6 Matthew White 7 Brian Eldridge 8 Chris Kerswell 9 Adam Catchpole 10 David Hall Onto 13.5 and after all 3 legs, the A Final result was: 1 Zak Finlay 2 Lee Price 3 Darren Lee 4 Tony Broad 5 James Baker 6 Mark Wallace 7 Ben Putt 8 Chris Gunter 9 Jamie Hickin 10 Peter Craig After all 3 legs, the 17.5 A Final result was as follows: 1 Michael Ball 2 Kris Kennedy 3 Gary Jones 4 Steve Ellis 5 Bradley Coaker 6 Warren Fox The trophy presentation and the traditional Schumacher raffle was all that was left to do after the finals had finished. A special mention has to go to the one and only Andrew Hall. Many of you will know Andrew as you may have seen him trackside as he loves to watch the racing and has great laughs and banter with many racers. He had the biggest cheer throughout the weekend when his good friend James Hart went to collect his trophy, Andrew decided to get a piece of the action and joined in on the photo - Great to see! A huge thanks must go to all the crew at Halifax, a massive amount of work goes in to make these events happen. Nothing was too much trouble, whatever we asked for or needed it was done, thanks to John and Muriel and their team. Thanks also to Bev for doing a great job at running race control along with Muzzy, everything went perfect and all racers left with a huge smile on their face, also a huge thanks to Mr Kris Kennedy who once again provided some fantastic commentary for the finals. The next round of the Series is round 3 at the Stafford track on Sunday 8th June, get yourself booked in as spaces are still available here.

24. The 2014 Series kicked off in fine style at the superb West London venue, with over 110 drivers booked in for the event. The weather was dry for Saturday which saw many of the drivers use the day for a lot of practice to get their cars fine tuned ready for race day on Sunday. However what greeted us all Sunday morning was rain, followed by more heavy rain, the weather was going to make for some very interesting racing! The race classes for this year's BTCC, following on from a successful Series last year are 17.5 Blinky class, 13.5t and Modified. Due to the adverse wetaher conditions we decided on round by round qualifying for the format, so it was your best 2 from 4 qualifying runs that would count towards the overall final position, followed by 1 final for everyone. The rain stopped during the first round of qualifying and throughout the day the track dried slowly. It stayed this way all the way through until the last few finals and then the rain started to fall again. There was some fantastic close racing in the 17.5 Blinky class but it was Dominic Skinner who would line up on pole position just ahead of a very close grid. After the A final had taken place the result was as follows: 17.5 Blinky A Final 1 Mark Passingham 2 Mark Young 3 Dominic Skinner 4 Chris House 5 Andy Tietjen 6 Dani Young 7 Chris Graco 8 Kris Kennedy 9 Lewis Brown 10 Malc Hall Moving onto 13.5 and the drivers in this class had a big decision to make, just before the final, the rain started to come down again and drivers were undecided between wet or slick tyres as the rain was very light. Everyone opted for slicks except for pole sitter Zak Finlay who made the brave call to go on wets, it was a decision that would see him go off in the distance having more grip than anyone else in the changing track conditions. So the final result was: 13.5 A Final 1 Zak Finlay 2 Rob West 3 Daniel Booker 4 Leigh Dibble 5 Lee Price 6 David Usher 7 James Baker 8 Ben Putt 9 Spencer Jones 10 Nathan Wilson Finally moving onto the Modified class, by now the track was damp so everyone opted for wet tyres as far as we know. After the final the result was: Modified A Final 1 Olly Jefferies 2 James Hart 3 Colin Price 4 John Pape 5 Stefan Chodzynski 6 Matt White 7 Paul Pinkney 8 Brian Eldridge 9 Ashley Wiffen 10 David Hall After the racing had finsihed the trophy presentation and the traditional Schumacher BTCC raffle was completed, some great prices once again from Schumacher Racing and several hundred pounds of prizes was given away. Congratulations to all the Final winners and also to the raffle winners. Rob Chaldecott looking very pleased here after winning one of the star prizes, a Racing Star 16amp charger - congratulations Rob, hope you enjoy it. A huge thanks as always goes to Paul and the rest of the team at the West London race track, who helped put on a great event with us once again. Also to Kris Kennedy for the usual superb commentary he provided us all with for the finals. Full results for the event can be found on Central Booking. The next round of the Series is being held at the Halifax race track on Sunday 4th May 2013, entries are still available, so get yourself booked in through if you haven't already done so.
