The ProRally RTR, Team Associated’s newest addition to the Qualifier Series, lets you experience the thrills of 4WD rally racing on a variety of surfaces. From dirt to asphalt, brick and grass, the ProRally’s suspension comes tuned to make the most of any surface you drive it on.

The ProRally is a factory assembled AWD (all-wheel-drive) rallycross-inspired RC car based on the popular ProLite 4x4 platform. The ProRally comes Ready-To-Run out of the box and features a Reedy brushless motor, Reedy 7-cell WolfPack battery, XP water resistant speed control, and high-current T-Plug Connectors. The XP 2.4GHz radio system is fully adjustable and provides reliable long distance control.

The front and rear sealed gear differentials are connected together with a tough aluminum drive shaft, and an adjustable center slipper clutch handles all of the Reedy brushless power.

The bumps are managed by four fluid-filled, adjustable, coil-over shocks and aggressive, all-terrain racing tires mounted on rally-inspired hex drive wheels. All of this comes topped off with your choice of two custom-finished Rockstar ProRally detailed bodies.

Pour moi, AE c'est toujours Proudly Made in USA, plastiques comme metaux, a Costa Mesa, sur Edinger Avenue. Curtis husting fait toutes les pieces a la fraiseuse lui-meme, a la volee, et avec mes 1200SC, c'est vrai, je fais pas forcement toujours la tonomie, mais bon, c'est parceque j'utilise des pneus de Holiday Buggy derriere, et ils grippent TELLEMENT que ca consomme plus... voila...

AE est Taïwanais depuis de rachat par Thunder Tiger. D'ailleurs les Taiwanais disent aussi "proudly made in Taiwan", mais j'ai bien peur que toutes les Assos viennent de Chine.

Quand je vois qu'en 2014 il sort (par exemple) des f1 qui sont moins bien conçues que des productions asso du début des années 80, ils n'ont pas de soucis à se faire; Et en tt, il me semble qu'en France ces autos gagnent quasi tout (Fc vic). Le tout avec des prix corrects et un circuit de distribution "normal" qui sécurise les clients de la marque...

Pas de problème avec Asso (j'attend mon B5), juste une affection pour Taiwan, moins pour la chine, mais c'est plus géopolitique...

Pour info:

Bien que racheté par Thunder Tiger, Asso est toujours géré de manière autonome aux USA. Le circuit de distribution n'est pas non plus partout le même.

Les autos sont conçues aux USA (R&D / dessins / pilotes essayeurs).

Thunder Tiger sous-traite en partie les produits Asso, mais pas toutes les pièces.

Concernant Taïwan, c'est un standard très nettement supérieur à la chine. Les produits sortis sont de qualité; d'ailleurs personne n'a constaté de baisse de qualité des produits Asso depuis que sous-traités chez Thunder Tiger; alors que l'on a vu une nette amélioration des produits Thunder Tiger depuis ledit rachat.

Quant au fait de faire des autos de loisir, cela permet de sortir des autos de compétition à prix raisonnable... car de nombreuses pièces de ces mêmes autos connaissent une seconde vie sur les autos de loisir; et que le profit global de la marque ne dépend plus de 6~8 produits, mais de 20~30. Et les utilisateurs de ces autos de loisir sont généralement très contents d'avoir des autos de cette qualité, car il faut reconnaître que c'est nettement supérieur aux autres produits loisir du marché.
