ROAR is looking for an experienced facility to host the 2014 IFMAR Electric On-Road Worlds

In 2014 the IFMAR Electric On-Road Worlds are scheduled to come to the ROAR bloc, and ROAR is looking for a top-notch facility to host the event. A qualified host should have adequate “big race” experience and a facility that is appropriate as a venue to host the ultimate event in the category.

Infos concernant le World 2014.

The IFMAR 2014 Electric On Road World Championship was in rotation to be hosted by the ROAR bloc, if accepted. The ROAR Executive Committee investigated various potential sites to hold this event, but was not successful in finding a suitable host location that would meet the stringent IFMAR expectations. The Executive Committee recently voted to decline this race and let the next bloc in line take this event.

2014 IFMAR electric onroad worlds

ROAR would like to first Thank IFMAR for allowing us to make a second go at hosting the 2014 Electric On Road World Championships. In doing so they have made it possible for ROAR to keep this event in the ROAR Bloc for 2014. We would also like to Thank all of the racers and track operators for their support in bringing this event back. We had but a short window in which to get potential bids in and it was a very tuff choice for the Ex comm as all the Facilities where equally capable in holding this prestigious event however we could only pick one. With that being said we would like to congratulate Full Throttle Raceway in beautiful Kissimmee Florida as the host track for the 2014 Electric On Road Worlds. Stay tuned for more updates on this event.

A few weeks ago it was announced that Full Throttle Speedway in Kissimmee, Florida would be hosing the 2014 On Road Worlds. Since that time the organizers have been working with city government and community leaders to determine if they could secure facilities to build a temporary carpet track for the 1/12 race. It was determined that this would not be feasible. The 2014 IFMAR 1/12th and ISTC Worlds will be held on asphalt. As part of a series of track improvements leading up to the Pre-Worlds and IFMAR Worlds. The Full Throttle Speedway team has confirmed that the repaving of the track is complete. This investment was made to ensure that the facility would be in world class condition to host the event. The surface is curing now and a new, revised layout will be put in place shortly. More details to come.

Hello Drivers,

A little over a month away until the first tone of the the 2014 ISTC IFMAR Worlds in Largo and Kissimmee, Florida. A few weeks ago an email was sent out to ALL of the drivers requesting "headshots" from anyone attending the 1/12th or 1/10th portion of the race. This email also contained information regarding hotel and airport codes. If you did NOT recieve this email then more than likely the email address you signed up with was not entered correctly into the entry database. (I copied and pasted them directly). Simply email me at 2014istcworlds@gmail.com and I will get the info right out to you.

Also we have created a application for the worlds that will be updated up to and during the Worlds with alot of great info! Weather, Photos, Videos, Rules, A Messenger App built in, Directions, Direct Links to the LiveRC Stream, Etc. If you are on Iphone you simply go to this website http://apps.appmakr.com/ifmaristc2014worldchampionship and click on the HTML5 link. Save the link to your main screen and your set. On Android go to the above address and select the "Native Android APP" and it will download the app straight to your Phone!

On to some of the questions that have been posted....(I have some answers but not all!!! Don't shoot the messenger! Just trying to help!!)

1. LGC is the official traction compound of 1/12.

2. SXT is the official compound of 1/10.

3. Trinity / Epic is the Title Sponsor of the Event. We would like to thank Ernie Provetti for his continued support.
