a+

Paul

kkkkkkkkkk tu as raison Lonestar........kkkkkkkkkk

Race-winning design and performance.

The RC10 started as the vision of Team Associated's founder Roger Curtis ("RC") and became one of the most iconic RC cars in history.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the original RC10 we are proud to bring to you the RC10 Classic Kit, a faithful reproduction of Roger's world championship-winning design that changed the world of RC off-road racing forever.

The design and construction of the RC10 is totally unique to electric off-road cars, featuring a rigid alloy monocoque tub with fully adjustable suspension. Included are Associated's custom coil-over aluminum racing shocks, VariLok differential, and modular 3-piece clamping wheels.

Engineered for easy assembly and maintenance, the RC10 is also easy to drive over all kinds of terrain. The rugged nylon suspension and alloy tub are tough enough to handle bumps and crashes of beginners as well as intense wheel-to-wheel action.

So buckle up and go off-road racing with the Team. The Associated RC10 is ready to take on the competition.

The team that does it in the dirt.

Race the car that changed RC off-road racing forever.

The All-American designed Associated RC10 was the first to take home the gold in both the ROAR National and IFMAR World Championships.

The RC10 Classic has the same race car technology that has kept Team Associated on top of the RC car racing world over 40 years.

A race car, not a toy.

Sure, you've heard that before. But Team Associated designs and engineers model RACE cars.

The new RC10 Classic features fully adjustable four-wheel independent suspension, an aluminum alloy monocoque tub, and race-proven hardware throughout. Strength and durability are standard equipment.

Race-winning engineering.

For maximum traction, the RC10 Classic's suspension is damped by long-throw, fluid-filled racing shocks using machined alloy cylinders and precision-ground shafts for silky smooth action.

Rugged, yet light, the suspension gives you all the adjustability of full-size race buggies. The A-arm/ball joint design allows precise camber, caster, ride height, and spring rate tuning. Even the adjustable VariLok differential is included. The updated chassis fits 6-cell NiMh and 2S LiPo battery packs.

Exceptional ground clearance and low center of gravity also contribute to the superb balance and performance of the RC10 Classic over all types of terrain.

Get the jump on the competition.

Go RC off-road racing with the leaders. Complete RC10 Classic kits, replacement parts and spares will be available through model car racing's most extensive dealer network. Take the challenge and build yourself a winner, Team Associated's RC10 Classic.

The RC10 Classic is back, JConcepts brings the passion with the Detonator body.

The buggy that started it all in 1984 has been re-released by Team Associated and JConcepts is quick to respond with an all new classically designed Detonator body and 5.5” Hi-clearance wing. The spirit of the Detonator lives in the 1980’s, starting with the rear biased, over rear tower, hung cab, large window detail and roll-bar treatment outlining the stout individual pillars. The side-pods are simple, yet effectively cover the iconic aluminum tub chassis and skate by the latest in inboard electrical gear. Multiple side windows, including the vintage back window, stand out as class leading details. The front of the body slides just inside the front shock tower and nose brace tubes and gradually rises up to a center inlet scoop built into the hood. The back of the body has a powerful look, dipping down underneath the slick 5.5” wing and kicking up right at the rear adding flare and additional force over the rear-end. The Detonator pays homage to a selection of high-performance bodies from the late 80’s and early 90’s with a clean, cut to the chase desert buggy design and appeal.

Included in each Detonator package is a 5.5” wing that is designed to sit flat on the geometry of the body and sits down and hugs the back of the body. A simple, yet detailed wing design provides plenty of “sling” clearance for dirt and debris from the rear tires. A full selection of gurney options on the rear of the wing gives racers a selection of heights to trim to, depending on the level of traction. The wing side-dams are finished off with a little inspiration from today with the leading edge angled and already in attack mode. Support vintage off-road and the vehicle that started it all. Detonate with JConcepts.

We have improved the shock positions on both shock towers to fit your Classis RC10 shocks perfectly. The front shock tower holes are lower for optimized down travel. We also made 3 hole positions for more tuning options. At the rear shock tower, we made the shock holes positions higher and made also 3 options for the shock position. The top of the rear shock tower is lower and now, you can install your RC10 body a little lower - if you like it.

RC10 Steering Bell-Cranks

One of the best hop-ups that can be made to the RC10 is to update the steering bell-cranks with a more durable design. JConcepts has evaluated the options and built an all aluminum design bringing the driving bell-crank into a one-piece design eliminating the servo saver, increasing steering response and feel. The idler bell-crank sports a beefy and similar design giving the vehicle a symmetrical feel. The parts are available in blue or black and feature silver chamfered edged highlighting and laser-etched JC logo for brand authenticity. The bell-cranks are bearing supported with heavy-duty flanged bearings and include threaded aluminum steering posts with etched JC logo for an ultra snug fit and finish. Hardware includes genuine Team Associated 8-32 x ½” aluminum flat head screws and custom aluminum post shims which locates on the bottom of the assembly.

Features:

· JConcepts design

· Available in blue or black anodized aluminum

· CNC machined aluminum bell-cranks with anodized finish

· CNC machined aluminum steering posts and shims

· Includes genuine Team Associated screw hardware for installation

· Improves steering responsiveness and rigidity

· Aesthetic eye-candy
