Tom Cockerill, there are few minutes:

Finished up C2 in the main. Qualifying was super tight, so just missed the b, but had some great racing in the final. Big props to the track crew, without them there wouldn't have been any racing today!!!

Things to consider on this car:

- Roll center adjustable with insert (2 inserts, 3 positions)

- Aft part of chassis bend to have anti-squat. Consequently, rear shocks tower is mounted on a bended aluminum plate to compensated the rear chassis bend.

- Wing is made of a soft plastic, will hardly break or shear

- Car on picture has been a bit tweaked with masses moved slightly aft for the world championship

Today is free practice, with 10 runs scheduled, the 10th one will a controlled practice mean cars (chassis, motor, battery, wing...) need to go through technical inspection.

After a quick walk in the pits, there is some interesting things.

TLR runs the 22-4 at least the Dustin Evans, Dakota Phend, JR Mitch, Andrew Gillott, other drivers run the XX4. Schumacher uses the K1, TeamC the TM4.

Associated drivers use the B44 in different configuration: B44.2 with Avid chassis for 80% of the drivers, some drivers run the B44.1.

All Kyosho drivers uses the prototype car. After some talk, it stills a prototype far from production as many parts are from the current 4wd.

Ty Tessmann, only official HPI Driver, run the D4'13.

On the Durango area, drivers have two cars available; the current production car and a test car. Drivers will choose following their preference but so far the production car is good on the track, let see later today what happen here. Regarding the test car, per official words, this is purely a testing machine, not the DEX410V4 some expect. Obviously, no pictures

Lee Martin, Mark Rheinard and Satoshi Maezumi run the new 4wd Tamiya.
