La catégorie Truck (ou Stadium Truck) n'est pas morte, elle est en fait belle et bien en renouveau.

Les SC ont eu leur période de succès de part le réalisme aussi bien du point de vue du visuel que du comportement mais les pilotes se lassent et reviennent vers les ST.

Illuzion - T4.1 / Kyosho RT6 Body

JConcepts kicked off the 2012 ROAR Off-Road Nationals with a Finnisher 1/10th truck body for the T4.1 racing truck. The slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance highlight a performance oriented core. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight while the supplied decals stand-out like an 18 wheeler.

Like the ROAR National Champion Hi-Flow SCT body, the T4.1 body has built-in air escape passages which allow the customer to fine-tune the body for maximum outdoor performance. The new body includes the high performance gurney spoiler which increases rear grip and balances the handling characteristics of the aggressively styled body. The Finnisher for the T4.1 is class leading straight out of the package. 1/10th racing is back, JConcepts style.

The ULTIMA SC line has consistently competed at the highest level. To maintain its advantage, the ULTIMA SC has undergone a complete evolution into the new ULTIMA SC6 model. A convertible Midship or Rear motor duralumin chassis with tungsten diff balls, aluminum steering rack set, and all the adjustability of the IFMAR world champion RB6 combine to deliver a sharp increase in speed. These features also improve durability and strength so the risk of damage during practice or club racing is reduced, allowing you to run your machine for the pure fun of it with peace of mind. The suspension design incorporates gullwing rear suspension arms and provides precision setting of the damping ratio to achieve optimal running characteristics. In addition, the midship motor layout matches the model to high-grip surfaces such as carpet or astro to produce nimble control and movement. The motor can be converted to a rear mount to produce optimal performance on rough or loose surfaces as well. Compatible with various battery types, a mount for separate or short-type Li-Po batteries is included that allows the mounting position to be moved between front-rear. The new ULTIMA SC6 racing machine is designed to respond decisively to the driver’s commands and will take your driving performance and results to the next level.

The #0269 body incorporates pre-dimpled locations for one of the hottest trucks on the circuit. The slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance highlight a performance oriented core. A revised front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for the unique RT6 geometry while smoothing out the front down force area. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight while the supplied decals stand-out like an 18 wheeler.

Like the ROAR National Champion Hi-Flow SCT body, the Finnisher body has built-in air escape passages which allow the customer to fine-tune the body for maximum outdoor performance. The new body includes the high performance gurney spoiler which increases rear grip and balances the handling characteristics of the aggressively styled body. The Finnisher for the Kyosho RT6 MM is class leading straight out of the package. 1/10th racing is back, JConcepts style.

The Finnisher body also has the necessary geometry to fit the Centro CT4.2 conversion vehicle. The body does not include pre-dimpled locations for the vehicle so it will be necessary for the customer to locate and ream their own body mount locations.

FUNCTION & DESIGN

The RDRP RB6 Suspension Mount MM-RM2 Set allows you to change the rear toe-in setting of your RB6 buggy and RT6 stadium truck within seconds. Included in the set are CNC-machined and black anodised aluminium suspension mounts, designed to replace the stock plastic mounts with more durable and highly adjustable parts. The front RF2 mount mimics the stock geometry while the rear RR2 mount (included for both mid and rear motor vehicles!) makes use of delrin inserts that, depending on the orientation, make for 2 degree, 3 degree or 4 degree toe-in settings. As the toe settings have a direct influence on the available traction and side bite you now have an additional tool to get the most our of your Kyosho buggy.

APPLICATION

RDRP RB6 RB6 Suspension Mount MM-RM2 Set is a handy tool to alter the rear suspension geometry in seconds. The four included delrin inserts for the RR2 suspension mount let you build between 2 and 4 degree of toe-in in order to alter the forward traction and side bite of your mid and rear motor converted vehicles.

Schon seit sehr langer Zeit bin ich von den Fahrzeugen aus Kyoshos Ultima-Reihe begeistert. Obwohl mir in grauer Vorzeit jemand im heimischen Modellbaugeschäft den Ultima II vor der Nase weggeschnappt hatte, weswegen ich in der Internet-freien Ära mit teilweise seeehr langen Lieferzeiten frustriert zum Tamiya Astute griff, ließ der erste Kontakt nicht lange auf sich warten: Der “weiße” Ultima Pro und der Outlaw Ultima Truck zweier Freunde konnten damals restlos überzeugen, wobei besonders der Stadium Truck durch sein ausgewogenes Fahrverhalten und die vielfältige Einsetzbarkeit für enorme Freude sorgte.

SC6 4MM CARBON FIBER FRONT TOWER (SC6, RT6)

Heavy duty 4mm carbon fiber shock tower for the SC6 and RT6. Much stiffer and stronger than the stock tower for consistent damper action. Adds an extra outer mounting location for added tuning options and designed with countersunk lower mounting holes to insure exact mounting and alignment which is extra critical for taller shock towers.

High grade quasi weave USA made carbon fiber. Includes 2 csk screws.

Stock holes matches the stock geometry.
