ABOUT THE CHASSIS

Experience the thrill of GT3 class racing with this outstanding, ready-to-run replica of the 2012 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3. It comes just as you see here with an officially licensed GT3 body in place, complete with its large rear wing. Underneath the body is a versatile Vaterra V100-C chassis with a built-in front splitter and rear diffuser, just like those on full-scale racing machines. Handling is neutral out of the box, but the chassis offers all kinds of tuning options that let you tailor the handling to your driving style.

The V100-C platform has been designed with flexibility in mind; accommodating variation in wheelbase and dimensions to ensure that our products are as faithful to the originals as possible. Multi-part body tooling produce undercuts and shapes that simple vacuum forming is incapable of achieving. Yes it’s more time consuming and yes it’s more expensive but to the enthusiast, the difference is startling and the end result justifies the decision.

Simple details such as brake discs, wing mirrors and bumpers complete the look but are so often overlooked. But not with Vaterra. Authentic colour ways and realistic wheels, subtle visual cues that stand out to the enthusiast; all have been carefully thought out, designed and produced with official licensed endorsement from the design owners.

It’s a 1/10 Scale saloon platform that has been designed around a common chassis and driveline, making it possible to create many different cars without the need for expensive and extensive bespoke spares support. At the heart of the V100-C lies a four wheel driven shaft-drive transmission system, equipped with twin gear-type differentials housed within a sealed drivetrain and transmission tunnel with an inline-mounted 15T brushed motor. A proven concept that our Vaterra engineers have honed to provide a balanced, neutral handling and confidence-inspiring dynamic package that can be further augmented with a wide range of tuning and personalisation options.

This ready-to-run recreation of the awesome GT-R GT3 is built on the Vaterra 4WD V100-C chassis. Just like the GT3 it's modeled after, the GT3 features a bolt on wing, and full integrated spoiler and diffuser. Additional details such as clear headlights, chromed exhaust tips and side-view mirrors really bring it to life.

Corvette Stingray (2014) von Vaterra

Following the 1969 Corvette Stingray Horizon Hobby now also introduce the 2014 variant of the ‘Vette’. Making use of Vaterra’s proven V100-S 4WD shaft-driven on-road chassis the car features full ball bearings, a 540-size brushed motor, LiPo-ready speed controller and it is decked off with a replica 2014 Stingray body and suitable wheels. Coming ready-to-run and factory-assembled the kit also includes a genuine Spektrum 2.4GHz radio set, 1800mAh NiMH battery pack and a 2A wallcharger.
